Stay Safe Summer - Gangs & Youth Involvement public meeting

In response to a number of concerns expressed  around the issue of Gangs Manor Park SNT have arranged a public meeting to look at this issue.

It will take place on Wednesday July 18 2018 –  19:00hrs  at The Trinity Centre – East Avenue E12 6SG.

 

Under the heading “Stay Safe Summer: Gangs & Youth Involvement” the following speakers have been arranged:

 

PC Mike Smith – Newham Gangs Unit – who will be talking about the work of the unit.

Raheel Butt – Community & Rehabilitation Solutions – a former gang member who will talk about warning signs of possible gang involvement

PS Simon Barrell – a Safer Neighbourhood Sergeant who will be linking this to the future direction and priorities of local Ward Panels.

 

The meeting has been timed to coincide with the start of the school summer holidays – when young people will have a lot of free time and parents have to work.

 

Admission is free. It will last for one hour and there will be time to ask questions.
